Geckos Rest is a tranquil, quirky guesthouse nestled in the tropical coastal village of Southbroom. The beach is a 3 minute drive away and offers some great surfing and swimming. Be sure to check out ‘Grannies Pool’ where kids can swim and snorkel. Play a game of tennis or a round of golf just 4 minutes away from Geckos Rest.
Accommodation is offered in 4 private and individually decorated en-suite rooms that each have a private patio. As well as 1 self-catering unit with 2 bedrooms. Each room has a TV, a mini-fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. You can choose to book Geckos Rest as a full home that sleeps a maximum of 12 people or contact us to get the rates for booking for 2 or 4 guests, the minimum nights stay is 3 nights per booking.
Guests can hang out in the communal area which features a lounge, a dining area and a bar, or they can relax by the pool or in the beautiful garden. There is also a trampoline and a tree swing for the kiddies to enjoy. Reclaimed wood and glass are what make Geckos Rest unique and you will find it everywhere from the glass wall in your room to the patio area in the communal room.
